Project Blue Beam: NASA-Engineered Plan For World Domination Or Crazy Conspiracy Theory?

project blue beam

Project Blue Beam is a theory created by the late journalist and conspiracy theorist Serge Monast which claims the ushering in of a New World Order will consist of multiple technologically simulated events, including holographic sky projections and the appearance of the Antichrist.

Monast originally believed Project Blue Beam would occur in 1983, but when it didn’t, he later pushed the dates back to 1995, 1996 and eventually 2000. Some believers admit he was mistaken about the exact timing of the events, but think the plan itself is actually still in place.

Serge Monast spent his early career in the 1970s and 1980s as an essayist, poet and journalist. He was also a member of the Social Credit Party of Canada. It was not until the early 1990s when he became interested in conspiracy theories and secret societies. Monast often said he was inspired by the works of William Guy Carr.

After founding the l’ Agence Internationale de Presse libre (International Free Press Agency), Monast started publishing writings about the New World Order and its grave plan for the future of mankind. He released a book called Project Blue Beam (NASA) which is nearly impossible to find now, leaving many who are interested in the subject to research and investigate content that is not from the original source material.

Monast traveled around giving various lectures about his beliefs and even spoke to Esotericist and Ufologist Richard Glenn on TV show Ésotérisme Expérimental (interview starts at 24:33):

Monast was a frequent guest on the show up until 1996.

According to RationalWiki:

“Proponents of the theory have extrapolated it to embrace HAARP, 9/11, the Norwegian Spiral, chemtrails, FEMA concentration camps and Tupac Shakur. Everything is part of Project Blue Beam. It’s well on its way to becoming the Unified Conspiracy Theory.”

Fellow Conspiracy Theorist William Cooper’s 1991 book, Behold A Pale Horse, is said to be a Blue Beam-like claim that predates Monast’s theory.

“The book is where a vast quantity of now-common conspiracy memes actually came from, so retrospectively claiming it as prior evidence is somewhere between cherry picking and the Texas sharpshooter fallacy.” (RationalWiki)

Later in the book, specific excerpts seem to align with certain themes of Project Blue Beam:

“It is true that without the population or the bomb problem the elect would use some other excuse to bring about the New World Order. They have plans to bring about things like earthquakes, war, the Messiah, an extra-terrestrial landing, and economic collapse. They might bring about all of these things just to make damn sure that it does work. They will do whatever is necessary to succeed. The Illuminati has all the bases covered and you are going to have to be on your toes to make it through the coming years.”

“Can you imagine what will happen if Los Angeles is hit with a 9.0 quake, New York City is destroyed by a terrorist-planted atomic bomb, World War III breaks out in the Middle East, the banks and the stock markets collapse, Extraterrestrials land on the White House lawn, food disappears from the markets, some people disappear, the Messiah presents himself to the world, and all in a very short period of time? Can you imagine? The world power structure can, and will if necessary, make some or all of those things happen to bring about the New World Order.”

The four stages of Project Blue Beam

Supposedly designed by the geniuses at NASA, Project Blue Beam consists of four fantastical stages:

Stage One

Human-generated earthquakes around the planet would destroy archaeological evidence and knowledge. These same earthquakes would reveal “new” artifacts which would indicate “religious doctrines of all nations have been misunderstood for centuries, thus discrediting all religions,” according to website All That’s Interesting.

“Monast claimed that movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey had already laid the psychological groundwork for this step by presenting stories in which mysterious unearthed objects upend everything humans know about themselves and their world.”

Stage Two

During the second stage, an enormous “show” in outer space would take place where 3D holographic laser projections would be seen all over planet Earth.

Ground Zero Media explains:

“…Images of specific versions of the deity or deities would appear in areas in which they were predominant: for instance, Israel would see the Jewish messiah; in Muslim countries, the image of Allah would be projected into heaven; in Christian countries, it would be Jesus. Then all of the deities would merge together to be shown as one god. This, according to Monast, would be the electronic antichrist.”

Soviet (Russian) computers would supposedly aid in the psychological aspect of the event:

“…Minute physio-psychological particulars based on their studies of the anatomy and electro-mechanical composition of the human body, and the studies of the electrical, chemical and biological properties of the human brain; every human has been allocated a unique radio wavelength.”

The destruction of religious and social order would eventually take place, resulting in countless fanatics showing symptoms of demonic possession on a scale never seen before. During this time, Beethoven’s Ode to Joy would be blasted across the planet as the anthem of the New Age One World Religion.

Stage Three

“Telepathic Two-Way Communication” will allegedly occur in the third stage, which consists of the transfer of artificial knowledge from satellites to human brains, resulting in mind control. This is achieved by using extremely low-frequency (ELF) radio waves to transmit the appearance of a god, or other idol, who speaks directly to individuals through telepathy.

The Spectator posted Monast’s response to those who doubt the possibility of complete mind control over the populace:

“If people do not believe this kind of technology is possible, or that it is science fiction, those people put themselves in great jeopardy. During the night when the new messiah will be presented to the world, they will not be prepared and will have no time to prepare to save themselves against that kind of technology.”

Stage Four

This stage is made up of three separate steps:

1. Propaganda that makes people think a looming Independence Day-tier invasion will occur at every major city on Earth.

2. Convincing believers in Christ the Rapture is upon them.

3. Activating special microchips (i.e. smart chips) installed in all modern electronic equipment and appliances, thus producing visual displays that appear supernatural, but are instead fake and doctored by the creators of Project Blue Beam.

Regarding step two, “a device has apparently already been perfected that will lift enormous numbers of people” into the sky to simulate the Rapture. Reported UFO abductions throughout the last few decades were apparently “tests” of the frightening machine.

All three steps combined will then supposedly cause absolute chaos, leading to the population begging for a New World Order to take control.

In 1996, Serge Monast died as a result of a heart attack. Many who believe his theory think he was actually assassinated in an effort to mask the progress of his investigations into NASA’s alleged top-secret world domination project.

Those who scoff at his proposals think he was just another delusional conspiracy theorist…
